Description
MARINE 40 Unwaxed Laminating Resin is an orthophthalic-based polyester resin engineered to deliver excellent physical and mechanical performance. It is specifically formulated for marine and water-related applications, including boats, yachts, and water tanks.
This resin is also suitable for a wide range of general-purpose fibreglass applications. It features low styrene emissions, minimal shrinkage, and an extended working pot life, and is supported by Lloyd’s approval for marine use.
Supplied unwaxed as standard, the resin cures to a tacky surface, making it ideal for applications requiring multiple laminate layers or subsequent topcoating without the need for sanding. For a tack-free finish, use MARINE 40 LSE or incorporate a wax and styrene additive into the final resin layer.
