TROJAN FIBREGLASS SHIPPING PROCESS
Trojan Fibreglass ships substantial amounts of products and materials all over Australia. To complete this process we use both internal freight distribution and external 3rd party freight carriers. In the below information we will outline the shipping process and planned delivery times.
Internal Freight Distribution
Trojan Fibreglass does have its own vehicles for freight distribution. In the event that your goods will be shipped using our internal freight carrier we will advise the consignment number and the relevant contact details to track and expect delivery.
3rd Party Freight Carriers
Trojan Fibreglass uses a 3rd party carrier to distribute throughout Australia. Our approved carrier is Regional Road Express. Regional Road Express delivers services throughout NSW, and has an on-forwarding agreement with Air Road when moving freight interstate and has an on-forwarding agreement with different agents throughout Australia.
Consignment and Tracking
On completion of your order, Trojan Fibreglass will advise the consignment number, carrier and date the goods were shipped. If you provide a email address Regional Road Express will send tracking information regarding delivery and expected delivery dates. Phone Contact Numbers
It is mandatory on our website when purchasing to provide a day time telephone contact number. Our couriers need your contact information in the event that they need to contact you regarding the delivery. Not providing your contact details can at times slow down your delivery time if our courier or Trojan Fibreglass needs to contact you.
PO Box Deliveries
Due to using a courier we are unable to deliver to PO BOX addresses. Please provide a residential or business address for delivery.
Authority to Leave
Authority to Leave (ATL) is where our courier will leave your goods at your specified delivery address without a signature in the event that nobody is available to sign for the goods. ATL does speed up the process for delivery as re-delivery is not needed. By accepting ATL Trojan Fibreglass or the courier is not responsible for the goods once they are left at the specified address. ATL will be a optional selection in the checkout process, please remember to select this option if you agree to the above. On checkout their will be a small space to leave any notes for the courier, please use this section if you need to specify any instructions for delivery. Authority to Leave is our default selection on checkout and will be selected by default please remember to uncheck if you do not give our our couriers authority to leave.
Dangerous Goods
A large amount of our materials and products are classed as dangerous goods for transport purposes. Regional Road Express is supplied with the correct dangerous goods compliance paperwork. This is carried with the driver at all times. We have specially marked cartons for marking dangerous goods in transit. Due to some compatibility restrictions some deliveries and parcels may be delivered at separate times, Trojan Fibreglass has no control over this process, couriers will deliver goods on the earliest available vehicle licensed to carry the goods.
Please Note – Due to the current economic conditions and effects of the Covid Pandemic, we are seeing longer delivery times than normal. We are trying our best to reduce these transit times but sometimes these delays are completely out of our control and subject to the carriers restrictions. We ask that during these times you please remain patient and be rest assured that behind the scenes Trojan Fibreglass are doing their upmost best to followup any late consignments and providing all our customers feedback as fast as possible.
Delivery Times
Delivery times can vary depending on location and type of goods. As a general guide metropolitan areas of NSW, QLD and VIC will see their goods within 3-5 business days. Deliveries to WA, SA, TAS and NT are delivered using special services such as rail and boat. Additional handling times may apply to these areas of up to 12 business days for delivery. In the event that you live in a remote or rural location our couriers will you contact to arrange delivery, please always provide a day time contact number to ease this process. Please also note that any freight traveling to TAS will generally occur an additional one business day of compliance paperwork handling as it will travel via sea freight.
Damaged Goods
In the rare case that you receive damaged goods please note this down on the courier drivers proof of delivery. Please also contact us as soon as possible so that we can arrange replacement stock and liaise with the courier.
Flat Panel Sheets (eg: Honeycomb, Core Materials etc)
Trojan Fibreglass supplies a large range of flat panel core materials for the composite industry. These sheets are manufactured generally in sheet sizes of approximately 2400mm x 1200mm. Due to the cost of freight and handling, any sheets purchased on our online store will be cut in half for transport. Unfortunately we can only support the pricing online if the sheets meet a certain dimension. If you do require a full uncut sheet please contact our office to purchase over the phone, additional freight cost will apply which we will quote over the phone.
